An editorial itinerary
Follow the water
Give two different river settings a day each. This itinerary needs a car between the Vrbovsko area and the northern Kupa Valley; the visits themselves depend on local trail and weather conditions.
Day 1
The Kamačnik chapter
Check the operator’s opening notice and explore the currently open riverside route near Vrbovsko. Leave space for a late lunch and the town, with no second canyon to rush towards.
Day 2
A day in the Kupa Valley
Head to Brod na Kupi and explore the valley at a gentle pace. A visit to the Kupa source is a separate park excursion: arrange the day around its official access information if you choose it.
