Risnjak National Park

Risnjak is a place to read the landscape slowly: beech and fir forest, karst and the cool air of the Dinaric mountains. Near Crni Lug, the Leska educational trail offers an introduction to the park without making a summit the purpose of the day.

Higher routes belong to a different kind of outing. Match the trail to your experience, daylight and conditions, and ask the park about access. The Kupa source is also within the national park, reached on a separate visit to its northern river landscape.
